Finding the Right Help Can Feel Overwhelming — You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone

When individuals or families begin looking for behavioral health or support services, one of the biggest challenges is simply knowing where to start.

At Friendship House, we understand that every situation is different. That is why we focus on helping individuals and families navigate services and connect to the supports that best meet their needs.

Friendship House offers a broad range of services across Northeastern Pennsylvania, including outpatient therapy and psychiatry, school-based services, autism services, family-based mental health services, early intervention coordination, blended case management, psychiatric rehabilitation, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), community-based behavioral health services, and residential support programs.

For some families, support may begin with counseling or medication management. Others may benefit from services delivered in the home, school, or community. A child struggling behaviorally at school may need school-based support, while another family may need help coordinating care and accessing resources.

The important thing to know is this: you do not need to have all the answers before reaching out.

Our team works with individuals, parents, caregivers, schools, and community partners to help evaluate needs, identify appropriate services, and guide people toward the right support — whether through Friendship House programs or other community resources.

If you or someone you know is struggling or unsure where to turn, reaching out is the first step. You do not need to know exactly what service you need. We are here to help guide you to the care and support you deserve.
